The County kept Stage 3 in place and opened one irrigation window
Brunswick County’s current advisory shelf still identifies the Stage 3 Water Shortage Warning as mandatory. In its July 17 update, the County said it would remain at Stage 3 while allowing automatic residential and commercial lawn and landscape irrigation once per week.
The update assigns odd-numbered and non-addressed properties to the Tuesday 8 p.m.–Wednesday 4 a.m. window and even-numbered properties to the Friday 8 p.m.–Saturday 4 a.m. window. Irrigation must stay below one inch per week. Private wells, ponds, reclaimed water, and other non-County sources follow separate source and documentation boundaries.

Brunswick County Public Utilities and Brunswick Regional H2GO are not interchangeable
The County’s original Stage 3 notice says the alert does not apply to Brunswick Regional H2GO customers. A Brunswick County street address alone is therefore not enough to classify an account.
Start with the provider name on the water bill. County Public Utilities customers should use the County rules and contact path. H2GO customers should use H2GO’s own current guidance; the existing H2GO rate guide is a separate bill document and does not extend County restrictions to that system.
